All firearms sections are waitlisted or closed. Members must hold a valid Canadian Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) to apply for membership to firearm sections.

Archery: Accepting New Members. The main practice range is floodlit and open 24/7. The 2nd practice range and the 3D course are open from 30 minutes prior to sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset. Crossbows are permitted.
Fishing: Accepting New Members. Our stocked fishing pond is open from the last Saturday in April through to the last Saturday in September. During the season, the pond is open 7 days a week from 30 minutes prior to sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset. A valid Ontario fishing license is required to fish the club pond.
Handgun: Intake Closed for 2024. 2025 intake will commence 1 December 2024.
The range is open 7 days a week from 9:00am to sunset (Monday to Friday, 8:00pm on Wednesdays) and 9:00am-5:00pm (Saturday/Sunday).
Membership in the The Sportsmens Club Galt Handgun Section is highly sought after. Potential members must first apply during the annual intake period and if accepted, complete a club mandated safety course prior to commencing their probationary period.
Rifle: Closed
No further applications will be accepted for this range until further notice.
Clay Target: Waitlisted
You can register for the waitlist by contacting membership.scg@gmail.com with your name, contact number and email. We will contact you if/when a place becomes available. As the waitlist is new, wait times are unknown.

Annual Section Fees
Members pay the applicable fee for the sections they wish to join. For wait listed sections, this fee is only payable once a place is the section is available to you.
Open/Available Sections
Waitlisted/Restricted Sections
You must be a member of the applicable outdoor discipline before you are able to shoot that discipline indoors. Eg. An outdoor archery member may not shoot handgun indoors unless they are also a member of the handgun section.
